At UnitingSA, we’re looking for a skilled administrator to take on the crucial role of Scheduling Officer in our Renmark Office. In this position, you’ll coordinate the rosters of our community-based support workers and clinicians, communicate fluently and clearly with our clients, their families, and our workers, and complete all admin tasks with precision and care. Your hands on approach will be enjoyed and appreciated by our clients during their participation of our in-house group activities including an occasional shared lunch.
This office-based role is ideal for someone who thrives on problem solving, managing competing priorities, and building meaningful relationships. Your attention to detail and calm and kind approach will help us continue to deliver high-quality, person-centred aged care that meets both client needs and workforce capacity.
Your Role in Action:
Here’s what a typical week in the role might look like:
- Responding to scheduling requests and managing roster changes for support workers.
- Matching client preferences and staff availability with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintaining up-to-date information in electronic rostering and client management systems.
- Monitoring support worker hours in line with industrial obligations and processing fortnightly timesheets.
- Liaising with staff, clients, and families to resolve scheduling issues quickly and professionally.
- Supporting your manager and team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Assistance to organise and set up client group activities.
- Occasional shopping and ordering to help keep office fully stocked and maintained as required.

What You’ll Bring:
- A warm and caring approach to our clients and staff.
- Experience in a fast-paced rostering or administration environment, with great attention to detail.
- Confidence using electronic rostering systems, Microsoft Office, and client databases.
- Strong time management, organisational and communication skills.
- A Certificate II/IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience (desirable).
- A current DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential).
