About the Business
We are a leading suplier specialising in premium Japanese kitchen knives, sharpening tools, cookware and kitchen accessories. The business supplies high-quality products sourced from well-known Japanese and international brands and has built a strong reputation among chefs, cooking enthusiasts and collectors across Australia.
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Specialist to join our team and assist with expanding our online and offline presence, strengthening brand awareness and driving sales growth in the Australian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company’s products and brand identity
- Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns across Google Ads, social media platforms and email marketing channels
- Monitor website traffic, customer engagement and online sales performance using analytics tools
- Conduct market research and analyse consumer trends, competitor activities and industry developments
- Coordinate promotional activities, product launches and seasonal campaigns
- Assist with content creation for the company website, EDMs, social media and online advertising materials
- Work with management to improve SEO performance and online customer reach
- Liaise with external designers, content creators and marketing service providers where required
- Prepare marketing reports and recommendations for business growth and customer engagement
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Marketing, Business or related field
- At least 1 year of relevant marketing experience preferred
- Experience with digital marketing platforms including Google Ads, Meta/Facebook, Instagram and email marketing tools
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Interest in e-commerce, kitchenware, Japanese knives or cooking industry will be highly regarded
