In this role, you'll:
Work within our Operational Asset Assurance Team within the Public Transport Branch of the Coordinator General division at Transport for NSW, where you will play a critical role in ensuring Transport's bus depot infrastructure remains safe, reliable, fit for purpose and ready to support the future transport network. This will include influencing the future configuration of the State's bus depot network, providing asset assurance across critical operational infrastructure, and leading the delivery of infrastructure improvement programs.
This role will lead the strategic planning, governance and assurance of Transport's bus depot and property portfolio, ensuring infrastructure is fit-for-purpose to support current and future operational requirements, including the transition to New Electric Bus operations.
Working across operators, asset agencies, engineering specialists and government stakeholders, you will:
Lead the planning, governance and asset assurance of Transport's bus depot and property portfolio, ensuring infrastructure is safe, compliant and fit for purpose to support current and future operational requirements, including the transition to New Electric Bus operations.
Deliver infrastructure investment and improvement programs, including depot upgrades, renewals and new depot fit-outs, providing strategic advice on asset performance, operational risk and long-term infrastructure planning.
Partner with operators, agencies, engineering specialists and government stakeholders to deliver sustainable, reliable and efficient depot infrastructure outcomes across Transport's bus network.

About you
You are a strategic infrastructure, property, asset management or engineering professional with demonstrated experience managing complex operational asset portfolios and delivering infrastructure programs in large organisations.
You’re recognised for your combined strong commercial and stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate complex operational environments and provide trusted advice to senior leaders.
This will see you bringing:
- Extensive experience in asset management, infrastructure, property, engineering or operational environments.
- Experience leading infrastructure planning, renewal or capital improvement programs.
- Strong understanding of asset assurance, governance and risk management principles.
This is an Award Transport Grade 9 Permanent Full-time role based in Sydney CBD, with most of the role based in the field across Greater Sydney with some time also spent in the outer metropolitan areas, when required.
