Food Production Assistant – Japanese Speaking (Casual)

About Us
We are an established a food company specialising in the production and distribution of premium Japanese and organic food products. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Food Production Assistant to join our production team.
No previous food manufacturing experience is required. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food production and packing
- Prepare raw materials for production
- Operate production equipment following training
- Pack finished products and prepare orders
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
- Follow food safety, hygiene and quality procedures
- General warehouse and production duties as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a valid Australian work visa with appropriate work rights
- Has conversational Japanese language skills and is able to understand basic workplace instructions in Japanese
- Can perform physically demanding work, including repetitive lifting and handling products weighing up to 25 kg
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Can work well as part of a team
- Is willing to learn new skills
- Is committed to workplace hygiene and food safety
- Is interested in long-term employment
Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehousing or factory work is an advantage but not essential.
