EXPERIENCED FRONT OF HOUSE ALL-ROUNDER (Casual position)
Freda’s Café Restaurant Bar is looking for an experienced Front of House All-Rounder to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who is confident, friendly and capable of stepping straight into a busy café and restaurant environment. This is a true all-rounder role, so you’ll need to be comfortable moving between floor service, coffee, bar, taking orders, running food and helping keep service flowing.
The role includes:
- Providing friendly, professional table service
- Taking orders and using POS systems confidently
- Making coffees and other café beverages
- Basic bar service, including beer, wine and cocktails
- Running food and drinks
- Taking bookings and assisting with customer enquiries
- Clearing, resetting and maintaining tables
- Opening and closing duties
- Working closely with the kitchen and FOH team during busy services
- Keeping the venue clean, organised and ready for service
About you:
We’re specifically looking for someone with previous hospitality experience who understands how a good service should run.
You’ll be:
- Confident working independently when required
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and naturally good with customers
- Able to communicate well with both guests and the team
- Willing to jump in wherever needed
- Experienced with coffee and/or bar service
- Available across a mix of weekdays and weekends
A current RSA is preferred.
We’re a busy, family-friendly café, restaurant and bar, so no two shifts are exactly the same. We want someone who can read the room, take initiative and get on with the job without needing to be constantly directed.
