The Team Leader for Logan Central Child & Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) offers an exciting opportunity to provide operational management and strategic leadership for an interprofessional team of health professionals dedicated to specialised recovery-focussed care.
Team Management: Exercise operational line management responsibilities for a multi-disciplinary team, overseeing, workload allocation, staff rostering, and performance development.
Clinical Governance: Work collaboratively with Consultant Psychiatrists to provide clinical governance for consumers and apply advanced independent professional judgment regarding complex treatment and discharge planning.

Advanced Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated advanced level clinical expertise and capability in delivering high-quality, patient-centred child and youth mental health services within a complex multidisciplinary environment.
Proven Management Capabilities: Proven ability to operationally manage workloads, coordinate staffing and rostering, and provide professional supervision and performance monitoring to ensure safe, sustainable service outcomes.
Leadership and Service Innovation: Strong track record of providing active leadership in service improvement, implementing innovative models of care, evaluating service models, and contributing to relevant research initiatives.
High-Level Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict management skills used to foster an interprofessional team environment, manage change, and maintain productive partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
