We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Accounts & Administration Assistant to join our team in Richmond. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of responsibilities providing administrative, financial and clerical services to multiple difference stakeholders within the business. Key Functions of the role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers with enquires via telephone and email.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, managers, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Filing, photocopying, printing, and scanning.
- Data entry into our software program in XERO
- Administration assistance to multiple departments within the business.
- Stationery management and other adhoc administrative duties that are required as a service to our client and day to day running of the office.
- Monitoring customer accounts for payments and reconcilement.
- Follow up on dishonoured payments and investigate and respond to chargeback claims.
- Aged receivables review and follow up.
- Process bank transactions and reconciliations daily.
- Process credit card receipts and payments.
- Month end assistance to the accounting team, including journals and adjustments required.
- Assist with Accounts Payables and processing invoices in XERO.
- Prepare payments to suppliers and chargebacks as required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid knowledge and experience in the use of PC based office application software, Word, Outlook and Basic Excel Skills
- Ability to work under pressure and priorities tasks and meet deadlines
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and GL costing and allocation.
