About the Role:
As a Science Technician, you will:
Prepare and set up equipment, materials, and demonstrations for practical science lessons.
Assist with the preparation of chemical solutions and laboratory materials in line with safety procedures.
Maintain safe, clean, and well-organised laboratory spaces.
Support the management and storage of chemicals, equipment, and consumables.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure routine calibration and upkeep.
Assist teaching staff with practical activities, demonstrations, and field work preparation.
Maintain accurate records, including stock, chemical registers, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Receive deliveries, manage stock, and support ordering processes.
Ensure all work is carried out in line with workplace health and safety requirements.
