Adventure Support is on the hunt for a dynamic, big-hearted Male Team Leader who's ready to roll up his sleeves, lead from the front, and bring energy, humour, and purpose to every day.

This isn't your average leadership role. You'll be right in the mix — supporting participants, mentoring your team, and making sure every interaction counts.
About the Role
Think variety, impact, and a whole lot of purpose. In this role, you will:
● Lead, inspire, and energise a team of Support Workers.
● Jump in and provide hands-on support to participants with complex behaviours.
● Coach your team in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies like a pro.
● Keep a keen eye on quality — making sure supports are consistent and top-notch.
● Help onboard and grow new team members into confident, capable staff.
● Conduct observations, assessments, and give feedback that actually helps people improve.
● Collaborate with families, coordinators, practitioners, and allied health legends.
● Tackle incident reviews and risk management with confidence and clarity.
● Keep documentation sharp, accurate, and up to standard.
● Assist with roster and staff management.
● Champion choice, dignity, independence, and positive outcomes every single day.
About You
You're not just a leader — you're a motivator, a problem-solver, and someone people naturally look to for guidance. You bring:
● Solid leadership experience in disability, mental health, or community services.
● Strong experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours.
● A deep understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and restrictive practices.
● The ability to coach and mentor in real-world, fast-paced environments.
● Clear communication skills and the confidence to handle tricky situations.
● A calm, level-headed approach when things get challenging.
● A positive, solutions-focused mindset.
● A genuine passion for person-centred support and making a difference.
Essential Requirements
● Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
● Blue Card (Working with Children Check), where required.
● Current First Aid & CPR.
● Driver's Licence and a reliable, insured vehicle.
● Relevant qualifications in Disability, Community Services, Mental Health, or similar.
● Experience leading teams within the NDIS space.
Work Hours
● Monday: 9:00am – 7:00pm
● Tuesday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
● Wednesday: 9:00am – 7:00pm
● Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
● Friday: Half day, work-from-home, flexible hours
