About the Role
St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a casual Front of House to support our Events team. This customer-focused role oversees Front of House operations across a range of College and external events, ensuring a professional, welcoming and seamless experience for patrons, performers, clients and the wider College community.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Front of House operations during events, serving as the primary point of contact for patrons and clients.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure event spaces are welcoming, functional and professionally presented.
- Supervise ushers, volunteers, cleaners, security and other event support personnel.
- Support ticketing, patron entry, registrations and customer enquiries during events.
- Assist with venue setup, pack-down and operational requirements to support successful event delivery.
- Promote a safe event environment and complete event reporting and administrative tasks as required.
What You Bring
- A relevant qualification in Hospitality, Events, Tourism, Business or a related discipline, and/or extensive experience in front of house, theatre, venue or event operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of customer service, event operations and venue presentation standards.
- Experience in a similar role, with knowledge of front of house operations, event coordination and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values.
