We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker to provide daily support to our residents at Bethanie Geneff Aged Care Home and Retirement Village.
This role is offered on a Full-time Basis. Monday - Friday 07.30 - 15.30pm
Renumeration: $37.65 per hour.
The Role
- General maintenance and light construction activities across Bethanie Peel under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Housing Managers.
- Carry out general maintenance and light construction tasks across sites.
- Inspect vacant units and scope required refurbishment works.
- Inspect rooms/ units when they become vacant, and scope up required refurbishment works.
- Foster collaborative relationships with contractors, providing feedback and guidance to drive continuous improvement and ensure contractual obligations are consistently met.
- Participate in team/departmental meetings and other organisation meetings as required.

About You
- Trade or maintenance background within the construction industry
- Experience in general maintenance and light construction duties (or equivalent)
- Own a current and valid driver’s licence.
- Time management and organisational skills necessary for performance at the required standard.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Ability to identify workplace safety and operate in a safe manner.
- A genuine interest in working with and supporting older people.
- Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one.
