About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer to play a key role in delivering engaging, accessible and secure digital experiences for our users.
Working closely with Product Owners, and UI Designers, you will translate design concepts into high-quality, responsive websites and applications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining front end code, managing releases across development, staging and production environments, and ensuring solutions are thoroughly tested and optimised for performance.
As a technical subject matter expert, you will contribute to the planning, development, documentation and testing of new and existing software solutions. You will lead the implementation of best practice front end development standards, with a strong focus on accessibility, cyber security and user experience.
About you
You are a highly skilled front-end developer who is passionate about creating intuitive, accessible and secure digital experiences.
You bring extensive experience developing modern web applications and websites, with the ability to transform design concepts into responsive, user-friendly interfaces. You have a strong understanding of front-end development practices, release management, testing methodologies and web accessibility standards.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

1. Experience updating a front-end application
Describe a (Next.js or other React) front-end application that you have significantly updated or enhanced. What technologies were involved, what challenges did you encounter, and how did your work improve the user experience, accessibility, performance, or maintainability of the application? Were there any specific changes to the framework that caused you to rethink how the application was built, and what outcomes arose from this?
2. Describe how you prepare your work for review and release when working as part of a collaborative development team.
Explain how you incorporate feedback from peers, collaborate with designers and developers, and manage changes through development, staging and production environments. Where possible, give a specific example from a recent project, outlining the steps you took to prepare a feature or enhancement for release and the outcome achieved.
