Your opportunity
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Quality Manager will sit within the project team and be accountable for:
- Implement, maintain, and monitor compliance with the Project Management System, driving continuous improvement in data, document, and records management.
- Develop and execute the Project Quality Management Plan, and support the preparation of other project management plans.
- Oversee the nonconformance reporting (NCR) process, analyze trends, and assist with investigations of significant issues.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact project quality.
- Ensure quality requirements are effectively integrated into all project delivery documentation, including subcontractor and supplier packages.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Degree in Engineering, Science, or a relevant construction trade qualification
- Certified Lead Auditor with experience in integrated management systems (QMS, HSE)
- Experience in data centre or mission critical projects
- Commissioning experience including FAT, SAT, IST
- MEP systems quality (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire, ICT)
- ITPs for critical systems (UPS, generators, cooling)
- Digital tools (Teambinder, Procore, Aconex, BIM, commissioning systems)
- OEM/vendor audits and factory inspections
- Risk-based quality management
- Detailed understanding of relevant Australian and International standards, both technical and those related to management systems
- High level communication, consultation, negotiation and influencing skills
- Solid relationship building skills
