The Role
As an Optical Dispenser at our Williamstown practice, you will play a central role in guiding patients from their clinical consultation through to their finished eyewear:
- Tailored Dispensing: Guide patients through personalized frame selections and advanced lens solutions (lifestyle, progressive, and specialized options) suited to their vision needs and daily routines.
- End-to-End Care: Manage frame adjustments, fitting, repairs, and troubleshooting to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
- Practice Coordination: Assist with front-of-house appointment scheduling, patient inquiries, and day-to-day clinic flow.
- Community Engagement: Support practice outreach, local school screenings, and community health initiatives to raise eye health awareness.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in optical dispensing.
- Language Skill: Fluency in Vietnamese is required to comfortably support and connect with our local client base.
- Patient-Centered Approach: Warm, empathetic communication skills with a focus on education rather than aggressive retail pitching.
- Team Player: A collaborative mindset with an eagerness to support fellow team members and continue expanding your technical dispensing knowledge.
- Software Familiarity: Experience with Optomate is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Fluency in Vietnamese is required to support interactions with our client base
