About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations & Import/Export Assistant to join our team. This role will support the company’s daily operations, franchise purchasing activities, and import/export logistics while maintaining effective communication with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on franchisee purchase orders and procurement requirements
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth import and export operations
- Assist with shipping documentation, customs clearance, and logistics arrangements
- Conduct routine store visits and provide operational support
- Monitor store compliance with company operational standards
- Maintain effective communication with management, colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Prepare reports, maintain records, and perform administrative duties
- Undertake other tasks assigned by management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in import/export, logistics, trading, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with shipping, customs clearance, and international trade procedures
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Self-motivated, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (spoken and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Need a valid driver's license
- PR or Australian Citizen
