The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Behaviour Technician to join our team in Burwood, NSW.
In this role, you will apply your clinical skills to implement behaviour intervention and skill acquisition programs based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). You will work with individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities, delivering structured instruction and behaviour reduction protocols.
Supported by a Behaviour Analyst, you will collaborate closely with a transdisciplinary team of Allied Health professionals to ensure best-practice service delivery and optimal outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualised ABA programs using methodologies such as Discrete Trial Training (DTT) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET).
- Accurately record and maintain client data
- Support the generalisation of goals across home, school, and community settings
- Maintain regular and effective communication with parents and caregivers
- Build rapport with individuals across a range of ages
- Provide direct client care in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with Behaviour Analysts and other Allied Health professionals regarding complex or challenging cases
- Assist with parent and caregiver training
- Ensure clients’ physical, social, and emotional needs are met
- Prepare reports on client progress and barriers to goals
- Attend and contribute to regular client progress meetings
- Complete daily administrative tasks
- Maintain strict client confidentiality
Requirements
Essential:
- Relevant qualification and/or minimum 2 years’ experience in a related role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current Police Check (or International Police Check where applicable)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Department/Government clearance (if applicable)
Desirable
- Completion of 40-hour RBT course (with ABA therapy experience)
- Qualifications and/or experience working with individuals with behavioural concerns or disabilities
- Experience working with children aged 0–16 years
- Experience providing clinical, home and classroom 1:1 support
- Experience implementing the principles of ABA
