The Role
Anglicare are currently seeking to hire a Program Coordinator on a 14 Month Fixed Term Contract. This role is a fixed term salaried position and not a day rate contract.
The Program Coordinator will be involved projects that will have a high strategic importance to the organisation, with varying degrees of complexity, and organisational impact. The position will provide support and assistance to Project Managers and the Head of Transformation and play a vital role in supporting the organisation to transition to a new way of working.
- Operate within established project governance frameworks, applying best-practice methodologies to drive successful and measurable project outcomes.
- Develop, review, and refine high-quality project documentation, reporting, and executive-ready status updates to support informed decision-making.
- Provide strategic support to the Project Manager, proactively managing priorities, mitigating risks, and ensuring seamless day-to-day project operations.
- Plan and facilitate stakeholder workshops, driving alignment, clarity of objectives, and actionable outcomes.
- Partner with corporate leadership and technical teams to implement new system structures, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business requirements.
- Lead stakeholder and end-user engagement across the full project lifecycle—from initiation and requirements gathering through implementation, adoption, and optimisation.
- Design and deliver targeted training programs to enhance user capability, drive adoption, and embed sustainable ways of working.
- Collaborate with Change Leadership to develop comprehensive training and communication materials that support organisational readiness and successful transformation
What our team are looking for
- Current National Police Certificate
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
- Relevant qualification in Project Management or related (desired)
- Demonstrated experience providing administrative, coordination and program support to complex projects and initatives from initiation to closure
- Experience in coordinating multiple concurrent projects or programs of work
- Guide and support business areas managing their own aspects of the projects, providing communication and training as required to support change and encourage user uptake.
- Self motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Knowledge of program implementation support, training, systems testing, go live and roll outs
