Remuneration of $2,225.88 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $2,671.06 gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%).

Your new role:
This position is responsible for effectively working as part of the Open Space, Horticulture and Tree Maintenance Teams to deliver a high level of presentation for the City’s parks, gardens, reserves, sportsgrounds, streetscapes, and roadsides.
Duties of this position will include but are not limited to:

Operate Council plant and equipment with an emphasis on tractor and mower operations.

Undertake general labouring duties as required such as establishment and maintenance of gardens and lawns; planting; pruning; mowing; tree maintenance; whipper snipping; weeding; irrigation; soil and sediment control; rehabilitation works; chemical application; pest/disease control; maintenance of facilities; rubbish removal; traffic/pedestrian management; fencing; concreting; paving; and site safety and security.
What you will need to succeed:

Class MR Driver’s Licence.

General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).

Applicants must enjoy working as part of a team, have a positive attitude to work and enjoy working outdoors.
In accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation applicants are required to be vaccinated and provide evidence for Hepatitis B.
