Be the organisational force behind a growing Australian sports and wellbeing business.
Active Attitudes Sports & Wellness Clinics is looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Administration & Operations Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis.
This is a varied, hands-on administration role supporting the day-to-day operation of our programs, coaches and customers across Australia.
If you're someone who loves keeping things organised, enjoys working with people and gets satisfaction from making sure everything happens when and where it should — we'd love to hear from you.
About Active Attitudes
Active Attitudes delivers engaging sport, physical activity and wellbeing programs for children and young people through schools, OSHC services, holiday programs and community settings.
From our beginnings in Canberra, Active Attitudes has grown to deliver programs across multiple locations around Australia.
Our focus is simple: creating positive experiences that encourage active bodies, nurture active minds and help young people build confidence through movement, sport and connection.
About the Role
Working closely with our Directors and coaching team, you'll help keep the administrative and operational side of Active Attitudes running smoothly.
No two days will look exactly the same.
You might be coordinating an upcoming school program, responding to a parent enquiry, confirming coach availability, preparing program information, checking staff documentation or helping organise the next school holiday schedule.
This isn't a senior management role — we're looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on, organised and involved and who can confidently take responsibility for keeping our day-to-day administration on track.
The role is approximately 20-25 hours per week, with some flexibility around the structure of those hours for the right candidate.
What You'll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing general email, phone and customer enquiries
- Coordinating administration for school, OSHC and holiday programs
- Maintaining program calendars, bookings and participant information
- Communicating with schools, families, centres and coaches
- Preparing program information, attendance lists and documentation
- Assisting with coach availability, allocations and rostering
- Coordinating recruitment and onboarding administration
- Maintaining staff records, qualifications and compliance documentation
- Supporting staff training administration
- Maintaining spreadsheets, databases and internal business records
- Assisting with correspondence, proposals and program materials
- Providing general administrative support to the Directors
- Assisting with basic marketing and customer communications
- Helping improve administrative processes as the business continues to grow

- Communicates confidently and professionally
- Enjoys dealing with customers and working as part of a team
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
- Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told every next step
- Can work independently while knowing when something needs to be escalated
- Has a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Enjoys variety and working within a growing business
Previous experience in administration, operations, customer service, sport, education, children's services or program coordination would be highly regarded.
