Fishcut Seafood is a locally owned premium seafood retailer, bringing exceptional Australian seafood from the coastline to the Central West. We're looking for a friendly, reliable Part-Time Seafood Retail Assistant who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer experiences.
If you're confident serving customers, have experience using POS systems and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for:
- Delivering exceptional customer service with every interaction
- Serving fresh seafood and cooked food
- Operating our POS system, processing sales and handling customer enquiries
- Assisting customers with product recommendations and seafood preparation advice
- Preparing and maintaining attractive seafood displays
- Packing online orders and Click & Collect purchases
- General cleaning and maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe workplace
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, approachable personality
- Previous retail experience with confidence using POS systems and handling transactions
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Food safety knowledge, or a willingness to learn
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Availability to work Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays

While seafood experience is a bonus, it's not essential. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, has strong retail and POS experience, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. We'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.
