Doonan Traders Pty Ltd is a retail company that services the local community around Doonan in Qld.
We sell various perishable and non-perishable products at store such as fuel ,cold drinks, ice creams, beverages, milk, hot food, frozen meals, newspapers,
magazines, snacks, chocolates, cigarettes, lighters, chips, small electrical bulbs, sanitary products,
personal hygiene items, bread, sugar, and coffee. We also carry lubricant products for cars,
motorcycles, and other vehicles, ice bags, and sparkling water.
These items are available for commuters and the local community.
Due to ongoing work demands, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated team member to join our
workforce. We are in the process of expanding our business and looking for a dynamic and
experienced Retail Manager to assist with business expansion and management. This is a full-time
position available for an experienced Fuel station Retail Manager to work in Doonan , QLD 4562 . We offer
$76,600 to $79500 per year plus superannuation as compensation.
Position Details:
Location: United Petroleum Doonan (686 Eumundi Noosa Road , Doonan QLD - 4562)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, with paid overtime as per award rates.
Flexible working hours.
Salary: $76,800 per year plus superannuation as compensation.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail store or related retail
environment, with at least 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience managing a sizable team.
Familiarity with rostering, staff management, and reporting processes.
A customer-focused mindset with the ability to drive a positive in-store experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in computer skills.
Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, including sales, customer service, and
inventory management.
A passionate attitude that inspires the team to exceed goals.
Experience in developing and implementing performance plans.
A leadership style with an owner’s mindset.
Knowledge of specialty fuel & retail, including business development, visual merchandising, and store operations.
Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service
and adherence to company policies.
Ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase
profitability.
Skilled in managing budgets and expenses, ensuring store operations stay within financial
guidelines.
Monitor inventory levels and order products as needed to maintain adequate stock.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety
regulations.
