About you
You are a commercially minded and solutions-focused professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, technology and behavioural change. You bring a strong track record of delivering practical outcomes in complex environments and are confident influencing stakeholders at all levels. This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with travel to other Gadens offices.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualities:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in AI enablement, digital transformation, innovation or enterprise change
- Advanced, hands-on experience applying generative and agentic AI in complex real-world environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into practical, embedded use cases that drive adoption and measurable outcomes
- Experience defining or contributing to business cases that demonstrate clear commercial and strategic value
- Proven capability leading change management initiatives that drive sustained adoption
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with credibility working with senior leaders and diverse teams
- Experience designing and delivering training or capability uplift initiatives at scale
- A clear and compelling communication style, with the ability to make complex AI concepts accessible and actionable
- A highly collaborative working style and commitment to team-based delivery
- A curious, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results
This role is designed to attract multidisciplinary talent. While legal sector experience is an advantage, it is not required. The role will suit individuals who bring fresh perspectives, challenge conventional approaches, and have a proven track record of applying AI to drive growth, improve efficiency, and deliver meaningful differentiation in complex organisations.
Your role
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Projects & Delivery, you will play a key role in embedding AI across the firm by driving adoption, enabling capability uplift and integrating AI into daily workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accelerating adoption of approved AI tools through hands-on engagement and workflow integration
- Partnering with practice groups to identify, prioritise and implement high-value AI use cases
- Designing and delivering practical, role-relevant training to build confidence, capability and consistency of use
- Acting as a trusted advisor on the practical, ethical and operational aspects of AI adoption
- Supporting delivery of the firm’s broader AI roadmap and strategic initiatives
- Contributing to governance, standards and best practice in collaboration with Risk and Technology teams
- Monitoring adoption trends and emerging AI developments, and translating insights into continuous improvement opportunities
