About the role
We’re seeking a patient, engaging English teacher to deliver small-group lessons for primary students (Years 1–6). You’ll teach reading comprehension, writing, novel study and language conventions using our structured materials.
Key responsibilities
- Teach primary English classes (lesson delivery, modelling, guided practice, feedback)
- Mark weekly writing and provide clear, actionable feedback
- Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment
- Communicate student progress to the centre when needed
You’ll need
- Strong command of English and clear communication
- Experience tutoring/teaching primary students (preferred)
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Australian work rights; reliability and professionalism
- (Bonus) Familiarity with OC/Selective style comprehension & writing tasks
