Podiatrist – Subcontractor Role
Flexible Mobile Podiatry Work | NDIS, Aged Care & Private Clients
The Care Team Network is looking for a registered Podiatrist to join our growing allied health network as a subcontractor.
This role is suited to a podiatrist who wants flexible community-based work, without a forced minimum caseload or set days. You can take on a few referrals per week, a few per month, or build a larger caseload depending on your availability.
We support clients across NDIS, Home Care Packages / aged care, and private referrals. Services are generally delivered in the client’s home or community setting across Melbourne.

We handle the referral, admin, intake, service agreements, invoicing and client management processes, so you can focus on providing quality clinical care.

What the work may include
Podiatry services may include:
- general nail and skin care
- foot health assessments
- diabetic foot screening and monitoring
- gait, balance and mobility-related assessments
- footwear advice
- pressure care and skin integrity advice
- falls risk and mobility support
- education for clients, families and support workers
- reports, progress notes or recommendations where required
- stakeholder communication with families, support coordinators, aged care providers or other treating professionals
Most referrals will be community-based and matched to your preferred service areas where possible.

Practical details
You will need to provide your own podiatry tools, instruments, equipment, consumables and PPE unless otherwise agreed in writing. You will also need to manage appropriate infection control, sterilisation, sharps handling and clinical waste processes in line with professional standards.
Requirements
You will need:
- Bachelor degree in Podiatry or equivalent qualification
- Current AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist
- ABN
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain if relevant
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Reliable vehicle and driver’s licence
- Own podiatry instruments, tools, PPE and equipment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in community settings
Experience with NDIS, Home Care Packages, aged care or mobile podiatry is preferred, but not essential for the right practitioner.
