About this opportunity:
ICC Sydney are looking for a passionate and experienced Casual Food & Beverage Supervisors to join our world-class team. No two days will be the same while you empower our team to deliver extraordinary service for a multitude of events across our venues.
Our ideal candidate is a confident operational leader with a proven track record in supporting the delivering of large and complex events, preferably within large scale events venues or sports arenas.
You have a genuine passion for food and beverage operations and a strong understanding of service delivery, team leadership, safety, and operational excellence. With proven experience supervising busy hospitality environments, you confidently lead teams on the floor while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your outstanding communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, contributing to the successful delivery of world-class events.
In this role, you will:
Act as the key point of contact for team members and guests during events, ensuring service standards are consistently met, and any operational issues are resolved promptly and professionally.

Lead, coach and support a diverse food and beverage team, fostering a positive, high-performing culture focused on exceptional guest experiences, teamwork and accountability.

Coordinate closely with kitchen, stewarding, logistics and event operations teams to ensure the seamless delivery of food and beverage services across all event spaces.

Drive operational excellence by maintaining high standards of food and beverage service, safety and presentation, contributing to memorable guest experiences and reinforcing ICC Sydney's reputation for world-class hospitality.

Required Skills & Experience:
This is a great opportunity to be part of a high performing team who oversee the delivery of over 700 events a year. If you love event operations, food and beverage, thrive in a high energy fast-paced environment and have a collaborative and inclusive approach to event operations management, then this role might be for you. You will also have:

Minimum four years industry experience including two years in a supervisory role (desirable).

Valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation.

Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of customer service.

Demonstrated ability to lead large operational teams.

Working knowledge of WH&S legislation, risk assessment practices, food safety standards and NSW liquor laws and regulations.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams
-
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
-
Willingness to work in a team or autonomously with minimal direction.

Valid working rights in Australia.

You must be 18 years or over.
