Moresby Ave Childcare and Early Learning Centre (MACC) is a 39-place, community-based, not-for-profit early learning service governed by a dedicated Parent Committee of Management.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and passionate Room Leader to lead our Toddler Room. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to inspire a team, create engaging learning environments and make a lasting impact on the lives of young children and their families.

About the Role
As the Toddler Room Leader, you will:
- Lead and inspire a team of educators to provide high-quality education and care.
- Create a safe, welcoming and engaging learning environment that supports children's development and wellbeing.
- Develop and implement meaningful educational programs guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Foster strong, respectful and collaborative relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Mentor and support educators through positive leadership and ongoing professional guidance.
- Maintain high standards of documentation, observations and planning.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and service policies.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement of our service.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework.
- Previous experience working as a Room Leader or demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Passion, enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to build positive, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Commitment to creating inclusive, culturally safe and welcoming environments for all children and families.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and reflective practice.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
- Current Employee Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Current Child Protection, National Child Safety and Safe Sleep training
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Victorian Teacher and Early Childhood Mandatory Reporting knowledge.
- Full Australian working rights.
