What you'll be doing
In this dynamic role, you will coordinate and support the delivery of the 2kg Challenge, ensuring effective program implementation, strong community engagement, and measurable outcomes.
- Coordinate program delivery across community, workplace and clinical settings
- Build relationships with stakeholders to expand reach and participation
- Support culturally appropriate program delivery for CALD communities
- Assist with events, resources, communications and promotional activities
- Monitor program performance, support reporting and evaluation outcomes

Selection Criteria:
1. Tertiary qualifications in health or a related field, such as health promotion, population health, nutrition and dietetics, or diabetes education or equivalent work experience in a related field.
2. Demonstrated understanding of the health neighbourhood landscape, including experience in chronic disease prevention and lifestyle intervention programs.
3. Proven ability to design, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based community initiatives, achieving outcomes within agreed timelines and targets, particularly relevant to diabetes and obesity.
4. Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with community, government and non-government organisations to support health promotion outcomes.
5. Highly developed communication skills, including verbal, written, and digital literacy, with the ability to produce high-quality presentations and materials for diverse audiences.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, using effective negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills in complex health service and community contexts.
7. Current NSW Class C drivers licence and willingness to use for work purposes.
