About the role
We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to support a 40 year-old male in Warilla with a spinal cord injury. Female applicants are preferred.
Also seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to support a 49-year-old Malein Flinders with a Tramuatic Brain Injury and a Spinal Cord Injury injury to remain living independently at home.

Duties include but not limited to:
- Personal care & bowel care
- Hoist transfers & manual handling
- Medication administration
- Assistance with Allied health tasks
- Domestic tasks
Documentation and reporting

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.
Potential shift times for the 40 year-old in Warilla 7 days per week are:
- AM shifts 7:30am-9:30aam
PM shifts 8pm-10pm

There are a variety of cover shifts available for the 49 year-old in Flinders as this is a 24hrs program, so please add your availability in the application form.
Key on-going shifts available are:
AM shifts 6am - 8:45am (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)
Requirements:
- Previous care experience
- Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
- Current references
- Mobile phone
- Current driver's licence and your own car with insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
- First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
- Working With Children Check – Paid (mandatory)
Certificate III (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent (desirable)
