About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Civil Labourer with proven experience in earthmoving and civil construction. The company is based in Loganholme, Brisbane and projects are across greater Brisbane, Moreton Bay and the Gold coast.
This hands-on role involves working alongside machine operators and site supervisors on a variety of projects, including roadworks, subdivisions, and small infrastructure developments.
This is not an entry-level role, previous civil experience, preferably with subdivisions, drainage and demolition, is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with earthmoving operations and site preparation
- Operate laser levels to ensure accurate height and grade control
- Work safely around excavators, loaders, and other heavy machinery
- Perform manual labour tasks including digging, trenching, and site clean-up
- Follow site plans and supervisor instructions
- Spot for machinery and support operators as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in civil construction or earthmoving (essential)
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Reliable transport and punctual
- Current manual driver’s license
- Ability to work effectively within a team
Desirable
- HR driver’s license
- Relevant tickets (e.g. asbestos awareness, traffic control)
- Strong computer literacy, including digital timesheets, email communication, and site management systems
