Duties:
As a Scoper, you’ll work ahead of our crews to:
· Assess vegetation near powerlines
· Identify required works & the safest method to complete them
· Inspect all vegetation in close proximity to the powerlines
· Gain customer consent & communicate work requirements
· Negotiate access & permission to undertake cutting works
· Conduct quality audits on completed work
· Prepare reports & liaise with key stakeholders
· Maintain vehicles, tools & equipment
About You:
· Current Drivers Licence
· OHS Construction Card (White Card)
· Certificate II in ESI - Powerline Vegetation Control (or willing to obtain).
· Strong communication & customer relationship management skills
· Ability to plan, prioritise, & work independently.
Desirable:
· Certificate III in Arboriculture (AHC30820) or previous experience as an Arborist or Scoper
