Contractor Opportunity – Transcriptionists (WFH - Remote)
We are seeking experienced Transcription Contractors to join our contractor pool for future work opportunities. We are looking for individuals with strong transcription skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strict confidentiality standards. Contractors must be able to transcribe audio recordings into accurate, professionally formatted transcripts that meet style-specific formatting and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate transcripts
- Apply correct formatting and adhere to client-specific style guides
- Follow provided SOPs and instructions
- Meet deadlines consistently
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Use approved systems and workflows only
Skills and Experience
- Strong English grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Minimum typing speed of 70 WPM
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to manage deadlines effectively
- Familiarity with legal terminology (advantageous but not essential)
Mandatory Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have an ABN
- Must provide, or be willing to obtain a current National Police Check (issued within the previous 6 months)
