About the Role:
Reporting to the Paint Supervisor, your duties will be the preparation of ARB products, such as canopies and bull bars prior to painting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Quality check for any manufacturing defects.
- Removing weld splatter.
- For bars - Check weld tag part number against work order part number.
- Sanding fabricated parts/canopy shell with an orbital sander.
- Rub down fabricated parts/canopy shell with abrasives such as sandpaper or scotchbrite.
- Remove dust from fabricated parts/canopy shell.
- For canopy shells – mask up the canopy to prevent overspray
- Maintenance of tools.
- Booth housekeeping.
- Perform all duties safely and in accordance with SOPs and other training provided.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Experienced in automotive or industrial pre-paint preparation preferred but not essential
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and targets.
- An eye for detail and a high-quality standard.
- A high level of housekeeping standards. Sound time management.
- You will need to adhere to ARB's strict standard operating procedures.
