This is a newly established opportunity within the Finance team - supporting the growth of Built Living. This role is responsible for helping shape the financial foundations, governance and reporting capability. You will work closely with senior leaders across the business to establish disciplined financial operations, drive performance insight and support scalable commercial outcomes.
The Opportunity
As Senior Business Partner – Built Living, you will partner with the Head of FP&A, Finance Analyst, Commercial Managers and Built Living leadership team to establish and embed effective financial governance, reporting and operational finance processes.
In this role, you will:
- Assist with establishing and managing all financial aspects of the Built Living operating business
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and monthly management reporting processes
- Support the implementation of finance governance frameworks, controls and reporting standards
- Prepare detailed financial reporting and analysis across performance, cashflow, debtors, securities and job costing
- Provide inputs into financial models used for feasibility assessments and strategic business decision making
- Partner with senior stakeholders and commercial leaders to maximise business performance
- Support overhead management, forecasting and financial reporting requirements for the wider business
- Help establish and maintain suitable finance systems, reporting tools and operational processes
- Provide timely and relevant financial insights and scenario analysis to senior leaders
What we are looking for
We are looking for a commercially minded finance professional who combines strong technical capability with a pragmatic, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
- Demonstrated leadership and senior finance management experience
- Experience establishing finance processes, governance and reporting frameworks
- Strong financial stewardship capability across liquidity, cashflow and financial risk management
- Experience within construction, development, manufacturing or funds management environments
- Ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders and commercial stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial outcomes into practical business insights
- Advanced proficiency across Microsoft applications and business intelligence tools
- CA or CPA qualification
- Degree qualification in Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline
