As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you'll be part of a welcoming community within a vibrant retirement village renowned for its premium lifestyle and outstanding amenities.

The successful candidate will join the team on a Part-time basis, with the opportunity to work additional hours and assist with leave coverage.
Shifts: Wednesday, Friday and Sunday 9.00am to 2.00pm (15 Hours per week)
Reporting to the Village Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Opening and closing the café and restaurant in accordance with operational procedures.
- Preparing and serving a range of café beverages to a high standard.
- Replenishing stock levels and ensuring products are well-presented and readily available.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across dining, café, and bar areas.
- Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the clubhouse and supporting team activities as required.
- Completing basic administrative tasks and record-keeping.
- Handling cash, processing transactions, and balancing tills accurately.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships with residents and their guests.
- Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.
This role requires a friendly, proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to creating a positive experience for residents and visitors.
About You
You will ideally have previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage service, or a customer-facing role, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- A professional presentation, strong work ethic, and reliable.
- A friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude, with a proactive and positive mindset.
- A passion for creating meaningful resident experiences and consistently exceeding customer expectations.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications, or a willingness to obtain them.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative, and contribute effectively as part of a team.
- Sound computer literacy and confidence using basic administrative systems.
- Barista experience and coffee-making skills (essential).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
