We’re seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to make a real difference in the life of a young woman with an intellectual disability, psychosocial disability, and a history of significant trauma.

Pay Rate: $48+per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking female support workers to join our team, supporting a young woman with significant mental health impairment and intellectual disability. This role involves providing high-quality care, building a supportive and empowering environment, and working closely with a team that values your contributions. As her support worker, you will play a crucial role in providing stability, encouragement, and practical support to help her navigate daily life with confidence.
She requires someone who is:
- Kind, gentle and nurturing: Building trust and safety is key.
- Firm but fair: Providing consistent support while respecting her autonomy.
- Creative and flexible: Thinking outside the box to engage her in meaningful activities.
- Trauma-aware and patient: Providing care through a trauma informed lens.

What You’ll Do
- Provide person-centred support tailored to her unique needs.
- Help her develop life skills, social connections, and confidence.
- Assist in managing daily routines, emotional regulation, and personal care (mostly prompting)
- Work collaboratively and respectfully with her care team to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Ensure compliance in all part of service delivery.
- Adhere to the NDIS Code of Conduct
- Can implement Positive Behaviour Support.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience in mental health, psychosocial disability, or trauma-informed care.
- Strong emotional intelligence and resilience.
- Ability to set boundaries while remaining compassionate.
- A commitment to genuine inclusion and empowerment
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Own vehicle
- All certificates and checks.
