A Total Concept Landscape Architects is a well-established, medium-sized practice based in North Sydney with over 30 years’ experience across all areas of landscape architecture. We have successfully delivered thousands of projects of varying scale across Australia.
Our studio is located in a terrace house in a pleasant suburban street in Crows Nest, close to parks and cafés. We offer a relaxed, collaborative, and supportive team environment.
We work across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, including landscapes, cabanas, and swimming pool design—providing services from concept design through to approvals, documentation, and contract administration.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Landscape Architect / Designer (2+ years post-graduate experience) to join our team for an immediate start.
In this role, you will play a key part in developing and documenting high-quality design outcomes, working across a variety of residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop concept designs and detailed documentation
- Prepare landscape and planting plans
- Assist with DA and CDC approvals
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Ensure drawings comply with planning codes, standards, and project requirements
- Attend site visits and project meetings
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience
- Qualification in Landscape Architecture/Design or related field
- Strong design, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Vectorworks (SketchUp and InDesign advantageous)
- Experience with DA/CDC approvals and local planning requirements
- Experience in residential and/or commercial projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong plant knowledge (advantageous)
- Current driver’s licence
