Job Description:
To expand our team, Cyber Computer Recycling and Disposal Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified Systems Administrator. In order to ensure that the business runs effectively, dependably, and securely, you will be in charge of the design, configuration, and upkeep of our secure systems.
In this role, you will help strengthen and maintain secure infrastructure, optimise security platforms, and collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure reliable and compliant access across the organisation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain database architectures, data models, tables, data dictionaries, and naming standards to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Manage database backup, recovery, and preventive maintenance processes while enforcing security controls and data integrity measures.
- Develop, maintain, and administer database documentation, standards, policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Perform database testing, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities, including debugging, issue tracking, problem reproduction, and resolution in accordance with quality assurance standards.
- Oversee system security operations and disaster recovery planning, ensuring business continuity and compliance with organizational requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and external stakeholders to evaluate, implement, and maintain security solutions, while monitoring service delivery and contractual performance against agreed service levels.
- Provide technical support for server, workstation, and communication infrastructure issues, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software faults to minimize downtime.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, system logs, policies, and user instructions to support ongoing operations and compliance.
- Ensure the effective design and integration of computer infrastructure components, monitoring and optimising network performance to maintain operational efficiency.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of IT infrastructure and network environments, identifying future requirements and recommending enhancements to support business growth and technological advancement.
