Job Description
Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in advancing safe, evidence-based vascular access services across our expanding Joondalup Health Campus facility. The position holder influences the practice of nursing in clinical areas within the health service. Areas of accountability will include the provision of leadership, education and upholding the clinical standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Supporting the Emergency Department Team with patient flow and ambulatory care zone within in ED Department.

Collaborating with Consultants and attending to cannulation and phlebotomy requests.

Restocking and maintenance of IV Cannulation Trolly.

Promotion and education to staff on PIVC’s and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) to reduce complications associated with PIVC.

Auditing of PIVAS information and promotion of appropriate record keeping for PIVC insertions.
About You
You are a motivated and confident Enrolled Nurse who takes pride in delivering exceptional care. Your calm, solution-focused approach allows you to navigate challenges with professionalism, and you thrive as part of a collaborative team.
You will also bring the following:

Current nursing registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.

Medication endorsed and IV Qualified.
-
Minimum of 2 years recent (postgraduate) nursing experience.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information
