About the Role:
As the lead Physiotherapist, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based and culturally responsive services to clients with disability, developmental delay, neurological conditions and complex physical needs.
You will:
Independently manage a diverse and complex caseload
Provide advanced assessment, intervention and clinical consultation
Prescribe and review assistive technology, mobility equipment and postural supports
Develop individualised therapy and capacity-building programs
Support families, carers, educators and support workers
Prepare clinical reports and NDIS recommendations
Contribute to multidisciplinary practice, service development and clinical excellence
Travel to remote communities by 4WD and light aircraft
About You:
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
Minimum 5 years’ postgraduate clinical experience
Experience in disability, paediatrics, neurological rehabilitation or community physiotherapy
Strong clinical reasoning and ability to work autonomously
Experience with assistive technology and mobility equipment
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
Ability to work collaboratively while confidently practising as the sole Physiotherapist
Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working in remote communities
Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel
Experience in remote practice, NDIS, neurodiversity-affirming practice or transdisciplinary models will be highly regarded.
