Morpheus Care is looking for a casual Qualified Educator for Villawood Detention Centre.
Location: (The Village), Villawood Detention Centre
Hours: 3 days per week, 9:00 am – 2:30 pm
Start date: Preferred start next week
Role overview:
Provide educational support to a family with eight children living at the Village. Work alongside the existing teacher’s aide to deliver additional targeted support, particularly for the older children. Six of the children currently attend an online school based in Dubbo and follow an established curriculum and lesson plans.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the older children’s learning in line with their online school program
- Work collaboratively with the existing teacher’s aide
- Assist with settling into the role through a full handover provided by Teacher's Aid and the current supervisor
Essential requirements:
- Qualification or certificate in education
- Current Police Check
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
Additional information:
Pay rate and subcontractor agreement will be discussed privately with the successful candidate.
