Ruttley Services is a family-owned residential plumbing and electrical company based in Chatswood. We help homeowners across the Northern Beaches, North Shore and Inner Sydney with their everyday plumbing needs.
Our plumbers work directly with residential customers, so personality and communication matter. We’re looking for someone warm, well-spoken, energetic and motivated who enjoys meeting people and takes pride in completing quality work.
You’ll support our residential service team by completing plumbing installations and the work arising from service appointments. This is a hands-on position for a qualified tradesperson with extensive domestic installation experience.
Your work will include:

Completing installations identified by the service team
- Replacing and installing hot-water systems
- Installing toilets, taps, sinks, basins and other fixtures
- Water, waste and drainage pipework
- Completing plumbing upgrades
- Assisting with blocked drains and general residential plumbing
- Carrying out repairs and replacements in customers’ homes
- Keeping customers informed while work is completed
- Completing accurate job notes and on-site reporting
- Working closely with the service, scheduling and office teams
You’re an experienced plumber who can complete residential installations efficiently, professionally and with minimal supervision.
You’ll have:

A current NSW plumbing tradesperson licence
- Extensive residential installation experience
- Strong knowledge of domestic plumbing systems
- Experience with hot-water systems, fixtures and general plumbing installations
- The ability to complete work independently
- A warm, professional and well-spoken manner
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable work habits and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
- Consistent residential installation work
- Varied plumbing jobs across customers’ homes
