About the Role
You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering complex health projects, contributing strong clinical planning insight alongside high quality architectural design and technical delivery. Working closely with Project Leads, Principals and health stakeholders, you’ll help translate clinical requirements into thoughtful, compliant and buildable design outcomes.

Support and lead the delivery of health projects across all stages, from briefing and concept design through to construction

Apply clinical planning knowledge to interpret models of care, workflows and adjacencies into functional, user centred design solutions

Collaborate closely with clinicians, planners, consultants and internal teams to balance operational, technical and design requirements

Lead or contribute to the development of design concepts, documentation and presentations to a high professional standard

Coordinate the development and review of Room layout sheets

Coordinate project information, manage delegated work packages and support resource planning under direction of the Project Lead

Identify risks or issues impacting quality, programme or compliance, and contribute practical solutions

Actively support studio culture, knowledge sharing and the development of junior team members

About You
You’re an architect with health sector experience who enjoys working at the intersection of design, clinical functionality and technical rigour. You’re confident operating with a high degree of autonomy, while valuing collaboration and clear communication.
- Demonstrated experience working on healthcare projects, such as hospitals, acute care, ambulatory or specialist clinical facilities
- Sound understanding of clinical planning principles, including workflows, adjacencies, infection control and patient/staff experience
- Strong design and technical documentation capability across project stages, including detailed design and construction documentation
- Confidence engaging with clinicians and stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into effective architectural responses
- Solid working knowledge of healthcare-related codes, standards and regulatory frameworks, or a strong foundation and desire to deepen this expertise
- Highly organised with strong time management skills, able to manage delegated tasks with minimal supervision
