Position Overview
As a Front Office Dental Receptionist Trainee, you will receive hands-on training while undertaking a Certificate 3 in Business Administration to learn the essential skills needed to manage the front desk of a modern dental practice. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our patients while supporting the administrative operations of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and create a positive first impression
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Learn to verify insurance and process payments
- Maintain accurate patient records and handle confidential information
- Support the dental team with general administrative tasks
- Ensure the reception area is clean, tidy, and professional
Training & Development
We provide comprehensive, on-the-job training — perfect for a school leaver entering the workforce for the first time. You’ll learn dental terminology, office software, insurance basics, and best practices for patient communication.
This 12-month contract gives you the opportunity to gain a Certificate while working full time and getting paid.
