Barista Manager – New Specialty Espresso Bar Opening | The Spot, Randwick
We're looking for an experienced and passionate Barista Manager to lead the opening of an exciting new specialty espresso bar in the heart of The Spot, Randwick.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves coffee, thrives in a customer-focused environment, and wants to play a key role in building a café culture from day one.
About the Role
As Barista Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining exceptional coffee quality, leading a small team, and helping establish the venue as a local favourite for specialty coffee and premium cold beverages.
Hours:
- 5 Days a Week
- 7:00am – 3:30pm
- No late nights
- MUST BE AVAILABLE SATURDAY- CLOSED SUNDAYS
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering exceptional specialty coffee and espresso-based beverages
- Preparing cold drinks, iced beverages and seasonal menu items
- Leading, training and motivating staff
- Managing day-to-day café operations
- Maintaining high standards of customer service
- Stock ordering, inventory management and supplier liaison
- Ensuring cleanliness, food safety and operational excellence
- Assisting with menu development and new product ideas
- Building relationships with local customers and creating a welcoming atmosphere
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' experience in specialty coffee
- Previous leadership, supervisor or management experience preferred
- Strong latte art and dial-in skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Passion for coffee, hospitality and customer experience
- Reliable, professional and highly organised
