Located in the beautiful Nelson Bay, 50 minutes from Newcastle.
We are a growing private practice with a good reputation and strong referral base. We currently have clinical psychologists, general psychologists, an accredited mental health social worker and a paediatrician .
We are looking for an occupational therapist (or 2) join our team. As a practice we see ages 3yo through to 99+. We are keen to support each clinician's areas of interest and advertise for referrals accordingly. We are in our freshly renovated office and we have part-time employment or independent contractor roles available. Competitive renumeration will be discussed at interview.
This is an opportunity for an OT to work in offices with psychologists and a paediatrician (what a win!) and to also offer mobile services to the Port Stephens comunity.
Requirements:
- A qualified and AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist
- Passionate about supporting people to achieve meaningful outcomes
- Confident working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Organised, reliable and able to manage their own caseload
- Comfortable travelling to clients throughout the Port Stephens area
- Committed to delivering person-centred and evidence-based practice
- Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
We are flexible with a start-date for a new team member. We can take on a new contractor or employee immediately, or line-up a future start date.
