- Full time ongoing position (part-time considered)
- Salary range: $95,187 - $104,924 plus super
- Up to $15,900 in salary packaging, flexible hybrid work arrangement

About the role
As a Lawyer, you will provide high-quality legal services, including duty lawyer services, casework, and legal advice, primarily in Criminal law, family violence and child protection. You will have the chance to work closely with clients in need, ensuring they receive the support and representation essential to navigating complex legal challenges.
This role is based at our Horsham office on Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia and JupaJupagulk Country with regular travel to outreach courts in the Wimmera region.

- Relocation support may be available. About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Ability to represent clients in criminal law, family violence and child protection matters in court.
- A current Australian practising certificate that entitles you to practise in Victoria as a government legal practitioner (mandatory).
- High-level interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and external stakeholders, handling sensitive and complex issues.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a supportive team environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and ensuring clients receive the support they need.
