Based in Brisbane, the company manufactures high-quality products including bull bars, ladder racks, trade racks, ute trays, nudge bars, sports bars, canopies, and customised fleet solutions for a broad range of vehicle makes and models. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, weld, modify and repair aluminium and steel components used in the manufacture of vehicle accessories, ensuring products are built to specification, quality standards and workplace safety requirements.
Duties:
- Fabricating, assembling and welding aluminium and steel vehicle accessories, including bull bars, ladder racks, ute trays, sports bars, canopies and customised fleet equipment.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabrication plans and technical specifications to ensure components are manufactured accurately.
- Preparing and fitting materials through measuring, cutting, drilling, grinding, shaping and aligning components before welding.
- Performing MIG and TIG welding to produce strong, precise and visually consistent welds that meet company and industry quality standards.
- Inspecting completed welds and fabricated assemblies to verify dimensional accuracy, structural integrity and compliance with design specifications.
- Using workshop equipment and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently throughout the manufacturing process.
- Carrying out repairs, modifications and rework of fabricated products where required.
- Working collaboratively with production personnel to achieve manufacturing schedules while maintaining exceptional workmanship.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures and contributing to a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fabrication efficiency, product quality and production outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training
- AQF Certificate IV, or at least three years of relevant experience
Experience:
- At least three years of relevant experience.

- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of Quality Control
What We Offer
- Competitive salary with guaranteed annual earnings starting at $75,000 - $85,000.
- Full-time + Superannuation, permanent position with opportunities for overtime.
