Microboards Australia is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner with at least Proficient PBS capability who wants to support people to live good, meaningful lives.

About the role
You will work collaboratively with people, families, supporters, providers and allied health professionals to build shared understanding and sustainable support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- developing behaviour support assessments, plans and reports that promote quality of life
- identifying safeguards that uphold rights, dignity, wellbeing and participation
- supporting families, support workers and providers through coaching, mentoring and collaborative problem-solving
- contributing to training, resource development, projects and practice innovation
- supporting the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices

What you will bring
- registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- at least Proficient PBS capability, with Advanced capability highly regarded
- a genuine commitment to person-led, neurodiversity-affirming and rights-based practice
- strong written communication skills
- confidence working independently, with support from a collaborative team
- a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
- a current Working with Children Check, where required
- a current Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- the right to work in Australia
Additional experience in training, mentoring, AAC, research, resource development, advocacy, community development or practice leadership will be valued.
