About the Role
FTI Consulting is looking for a talented professional at the Consultant, Senior Consultant or Manager level (internal title is Director) to join FTI Consulting’s valuations and forensics teams (opportunities in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane). As a key member, you will be an integral part of this fast-growing practice.
FTI Consulting has a dedicated team of valuation specialists providing valuations of businesses, intangible assets and many other types of financial assets for taxation, strategy, regulatory, M&A, accounting, and litigation purposes.
A career in valuation services is exciting for many reasons. On a day to day basis we help our clients by analysing and assessing the value drivers of their businesses and intellectual property. Each year we work with dozens of entrepreneurs, c-suite management and their advisors, and develop deep expertise in a broad range of industries along the way.

Our valuation specialists are also active in the valuation community including holding roles with local and international accounting and valuation bodies.
You will work directly with senior team members who will support and guide you throughout engagements. Your professional development will be enhanced through internal and external training, on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
Execution of a wide range of valuation engagements for strategy, transactions, regulatory, tax compliance, financial reporting, and litigation purposes
Support day-to-day engagement execution, including interaction with clients, financiers, auditors, tax advisors and legal advisers

What You Will Need to Succeed
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting , Finance, Economics, or related disciplines. Other degrees in liberal arts or sciences are also considered if you can also demonstrate an aptitude for financial analysis.
1 to 4 years of professional experience, including experience in business and/or intangible asset valuations, credit analysis, tax advisory or other related experience

Compensation
Minimum Pay: $88,000
Maximum Pay: $132,000
Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role and is inclusive of Superannuation. Determination of actual salary is based on a combination of relevant factors such as market considerations, business needs, and an individual’s location, skills, level of experience and qualifications.
