Experienced Childcare Educator

Growth Mindset Early Learning Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced Childcare Educator to join our growing team in Campbelltown.
We are looking for an educator who is warm, reliable, professional and genuinely committed to providing high-quality education and care for young children.
About the Role
As an Educator at Growth Mindset Early Learning Centre, you will work as part of a supportive team to provide engaging, safe and meaningful learning experiences for children.
You will assist with implementing the educational program, building positive relationships with children and families, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and supporting children's learning and development through play-based experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality education and care in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Build secure, respectful and positive relationships with children.
- Support children's learning, independence, confidence and wellbeing.
- Assist with planning, implementing and documenting meaningful learning experiences.
- Observe and contribute to assessments of children's learning and development.
- Maintain active supervision and ensure children's health and safety at all times.
- Work collaboratively with Room Leaders, Educators, the Educational Leader and Centre Management.
- Develop positive and professional relationships with families.
- Assist with maintaining clean, organised and engaging indoor and outdoor environments.
- Follow all centre policies, procedures and Child Safe Standards.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development and continuous improvement activities.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or an approved equivalent qualification.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Current approved First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain these before commencing.
- A sound understanding of the EYLF, NQF and National Quality Standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children.
Preferred
We would particularly like to hear from educators who have:
- Previous experience working in a long day care or early learning centre.
- Strong knowledge of child development and play-based learning.
- Experience contributing to observations, learning documentation and educational programs.
- A professional, dependable and proactive approach.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
